Know About Department of Civil Engineering
Civil engg.is considered to be the most versatile branch among all the engineering
branches & it is running in this institute from the inception of the institute since
2009. It is the branch with lot of diversity right from structural to transportation
engineering, environmental to hydrology to hydraulics engineering, geology to geo-technology
to earthquake engg. Being one of the primary engineering department of the institute,
the department of civil engineering offers B.Tech & M.Tech(Water resources) degrees.
There are five assistant professors in civil engg having good experience of teaching.
The department of civil engg has well equipped laboratories in the specialised areas
to fulfil the needs of the students. We have various labs such as structural analysis,
geotechnical engg, transportation engg, surveying, concrete technology, environmental
engg, hydraulics & civil softwares. The major equipments in the labs are digital
pH meter, turbidity meter, aggregate impact test apparatus, los angeles test apparatus,
total station, three hinged arch apparatus, beam apparatus, bench type consolidometer,
permeability apparatus, theodolite,triaxial compression test apparatus etc. There
are 135 students studying in the civil engineering department at present.

Computer science & Engineering we welcome you!
This is an exciting era for computer students and teachers as the discipline is
now widely recognized as an essential source of techniques for advancements in nearly
all spheres of human endeavor. This department is assiduously heading towards achieving
high academic standards and values while preparing Computer Science graduates to
meet the GLOBAL STANDARDS.
The keepers of this department believe that in a competitive software world knowledge
is a key ingredient and a competitive weapon and they endeavor to impart even the
nitty gritty of this field to their students.
Our Objective
The objective is to educate, train and develop world class IT professionals with
a mastery of not only hardware and software skills but also soft skills for professional
success.The department is regularly conducting workshops for all faculty and students.
The department has six state of the art laboratories with high end Servers along
with a firewall security server. The well equipped Labs are kept open till 9:30
pm every day to enable the use of lab facilities.

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering strives to prepare students for
