The admission for diploma courses are made by DTE, Sundernagar on the basis of PAT (Polytechnic Admission Test conducted by H.P.Takniki Shiksha Board, Dharamshala) merit. 15 % seats are filled up through Management Quota for Both B.Tech & Polytechnic Courses. (for details please refer to the prospectus issued under the authority of Principal Secretary (Technical Education) to the Govt. of Himachal Pradesh, Shimla-2.)
Diploma Courses (3 Years)
The candidate who have passed ITI (2 Years) are admitted under lateral entry scheme in 2nd Year (3rd Semester) in diploma course. The candidate who have passed 10+2 vocational stream are also eligible under lateral entry scheme & are admitted in 2 nd year (3rd Semester).
